An introduction to the flamboyant language that will be of increasing importance to New Zealand’s commercial future. Offered through to Year 13.

Course Overview
Term 1
During this option students will be able to do the following in Spanish:
- introduce themselves and others
- discuss ages, birthdays, and other topics relating to numbers
- ask and answer about likes and dislikes
- read and begin to write in Spanish
- learn about, make, and eat food from a Spanish-speaking culture
- inquire into traditional and contemporary culture from Spanish-speaking countries
Term 2
This option runs for approximately 10 weeks. It will take place across one of the four terms in the school year.
