Course Description

This course enables students to have greater ownership of their learning. They will have a large degree of choice in what they learn about and what Achievement Standards they want to be assessed with. Learning will be based around student led projects based on an Innovation project.

Depending on numbers, it is likely that there will be combined Level 2 & 3 students.

Below is a SAMPLE of possible credits that could be obtained during the course.

Innovation. Students will use Design Thinking to develop a service or product that meets a local need. Students may wish to pursue an independent project.

A sense of curiosity.
Year 9 & 10 Inquiry Learning programme an advantage.
