Course Description

This course provides students with an insight into tourism and tourist destinations, both within New Zealand and the World. Students who take this course should be interested in a career in tourism and be able to research different countries and destinations. You will need to investigate domestic tourist destinations, including the geographical location of key natural, sporting and constructed attractions, activities and events in New Zealand. You also need to identify services available to tourists, including travel times between destinations, international airports and transfer availability.
