Course Description

This course covers NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship. Students develop their own design briefs, based on authentic situations in either Spatial or Product design contexts. The aim is for students to develop a broad DVC literacy and language of design to enable effective communication of ideas in career and occupational settings. Design focused students can complete an optional creative Ideation process for their project brief. Technology oriented students can complete an Achievement Standard in programming a CNC machine.
