Photography 3

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss R. Elmes

Processes and procedures involved with digital photography and the generating, analysing and clarifying of ideas within the confines of a theme.

The year culminates in a folio submission where students present a body of work for marking.

All camera equipment is provided for student use.

Course Overview

Term 1
Students choose a theme/topic for their work and begin investigating this idea through Photography. Learning photography conventions both on location and in the studio underpins the learning for Term one.

Term 2
Students continue to develop the ideas for their photographic investigation using the ideas and conventions of their selected artist model.

Term 3
Students continue to develop their ideas as they work towards the presentation of the three panel folio board. Generation, development and clarification of ideas should occur and self management of time is key to the success of this term.

Term 4
Students submit the work for their three panel folio submission to be marked as an external submission.
