Course Description

This exciting semester course will fully equip students to become proficient with planning, cooking, and serving a wide range of dishes. Topics covered include food safety and hygiene practices, knife skills and handling, food for the family research inquiry, and international cultural food investigations. Students will also experience preparing meals from a broad range of countries to enhance learning with authentic cultural understanding. A combination of practical hands on cooking opportunities, and valuable theoretical knowledge can be expected in this highly popular option.
