Course Description

Prerequisites

We want any student who is keen to be in a practical, creative based subject!


This course focuses on providing students the opportunity to explore digital based outcomes with a focus on developing ideas from Photography to Digital Design and into Marketing. Students will think creatively, problem solve and critique their own work and that of their peers.


Course Overview

Term 1
Students will learn about photography techniques and conventions to capture the environment in which we live. The imagery generated will inform their Digital Design through Photoshop, and require students to select and critique their work in response to the work of the artist model. Work produced will be showcased in an end of term exhibition. Students will also work as a class to create the collateral for this exhibition in the devisement of logo designs and relevant marketing material.

Term 2
