Course Overview
Term 1
Students explore their chosen theme through the use of a range of different media and techniques. The practical nature of this subject allows students to experiment and try a range of processes and materials.
Term 2
Students continue to develop their chosen ideas further by looking at and applying the ideas of their selected artist models. This term will result in the submission of work for the Internal assessments.
Term 3
Students continue to build on the work from their internal submission as they work towards their external folio board. The two panel folio must show the generation and development of ideas across both boards.
Term 4
Students will submit their final folio submission for external marking. This represents a related series of work that best shows the students ability to fluently control a range of media and to develop and extend their ideas.
