Course Description

•Practical wood program based on three projects using a range of modern and traditional construction methods. An introduction to modern equipment and fittings.
•Development of practical skills.
•A focus on industry and trade related assessments including health and safety, understanding tools and workshop machine use, specifications and construction techniques and processes.
Will be undertaken in a wood based workshop.
Course Overview
Term 1

Project 1: Use hand tools skills to complete a wood tray.
Term 2
Project 2: Use power tools and hand tools to complete a Wooden bedside table.
