L1 Economics Accelerate

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr C. Hays

This course is run in the second half of the year and gives students a head start in Level 1 Economics, covering NCEA achievement standards in:

-  study of the NZ Economy. (internal assessment - 3 cr)

- how markets work. (external assessment - 9 cr)

Students can then sit 3 NCEA achievement standards at the end of the year, and will be able to move into Level 2 Economics, or then have a look at Accounting as a subject.

Search youtube channels "ACDC Economics" or "Crashcourse Economics" to have a look at what sort of things we cover.
